Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 have been seen in plenty of leaks in the past, but finally, the company has launched the smartphones at an event in India.

Both the smartphones feature almost similiar footprint in terms of features and specifications, but there are certain things that makes them unique from each other. So let’s take a look at their details.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Specifications:

The smartphone features a 6.26-inch  FullHD+(1080×2280 pixels) with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The highlighting thing here is that it comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection which makes the phone durable. 

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports a dual camera setup housing a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors. On the front, it features a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 64GB internal storage(expandable via microSD card up to 2TB).. 

The device is juiced by a 5000mAh battery which Asus claims to give a 2-day battery life. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. 

It also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear and also has a face unlock capability via the front camera. 

Other than this, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 supports dual-VoLTE standby and has all the important sensors. It is available in Blue and Titanium colour options.

The Asus Zenfone Max M2 Specifications:

The Asus Zenfon Max M2 has some of the specs similar to its bigger brother Zenfone Max Pro M2, such as the screen size of 6.26-inch but sports an HD+ display, also it has fingerprint sensor at the rear and face unlock capability.

It sports a dual camera set up at the rear housing a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, it comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies. 

The device will be powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 Soc paired with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB internal storage(expandable via microSD card).

The device is juiced by a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. 

The Asus Zenfone Max M2 supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0. It comes in Black and Blue colour options. Sadly, there is no Titanium colour option as seen in the Pro model.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 Pricing and Launch offers:

The Zenfone Max Pro M2 starts for Rs. 12,999 for the base 3GB/32GB variant, Rs. 14,999 for 4GB/64GB variant, and Rs. 16,999 for the maxed out 6GB/64GB variant. 

The Zenfone Max M2 starts for Rs. 9,999 for the base 3GB/32GB variant, and Rs. 11,999 for 4GB/64GB variant.

Both the smartphones will be exclusively available on Flipkart India website starting from December 17.

Other than this, the company is offering several launches offers tieing up with Flipkart. They are offering a complete mobile protection plan of Rs. 1299 for just Rs. 99 covering all types of damages and threats. Flipkart is also offering bank discounts on the smartphones. 

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 look pretty promising at least on paper but we have to test the device more before we give further opinion.
