Google has launched the new Pixel smartphones at an event in New York. The all-new Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL come with fresh hardware and also rock a notch-less design. Unlike before, this time the company has provided dual lens, Yes, dual camera setup if finally happening in the new Pixel devices. Both of them come with a lot of improvements over the last year’s Pixel 3 and 3 XL. Let’s take a look at all the details.

The smartphone with a 5.7-inch full-HD+ display is a clean Notch-less screen without any interruption. Though the upper bezel is sacrificed it is still great as some people hate notches. The refresh rate is improved to 90Hz, the company has added ‘Smooth Display’ a feature that automatically switches the refresh rate from 60Hz to 90Hz or vice versa if the phone is performing suitable tasks. Say for gaming, the device will automatically switch to 90Hz and if a basic activity, say texting is performed, the device will switch back to 60Hz.
The camera is also a step up, Instead of single-camera setup, the company has provided dual rear cameras. A 12-megapixel primary sensor and another 16-megapixel telephoto lens. At the front, it features an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC bundled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. It also has an unimpressive 2,800mAh battery with 18W fast charge support.

The XL version of the phone has all the same features as the regular Pixel 4, just that the display size and battery capacities are different.

Other than this, both the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL come in three colour options, the Cleary White, Just Black, and Oh So Orange finishes. The Pixel 4 starts at $799 and Pixel 4 XL at $899. Good phones, great prices, but sadly, the smartphone won’t make it to India as confirmed by Google officials. However, the company aims at bringing other Pixel phones in the future to the Indian market.
