Honor 9X And Honor 9X Pro Launched In China With Kirin 810 SoC

Honor has launched two new smartphones in China, the Honor 9x and 9x Pro. Both the smartphones come with a full-screen display and a unique shiny back panel. Let’s take a look at all the details.

Honor 9x And 9x Pro Smartphone Details

Both the Honor 9x and 9x Pro is powered by a Kirin 810 chipset. There’s up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on the 9x and up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage on the 9x Pro.

The Honor 9x and 9x Pro also sport the same displays, a 6.59-inch full-HD+(2340×1080 pixels) IPS panel. The display here is full-screen meaning Honor had to find a way for housing the front cameras. Well, the company has provided a pop-up slider for the selfie camera that pops out once the camera application is turned on.

One major difference between both smartphones is its cameras, the Honor 9x sports dual rear cameras consisting of a 48MP lens and an additional 2MP depth sensor while the Honor 9x Pro features an extra 8MP wide-angle lens. At the front as well, both of them feature a 16-megapixel lens. Both the smartphones are equipped with 4,000mAh battery which can be juiced up via the USB Type-C port.

In terms of pricing, the Honor 9x starts at CNY 1,399 for the base 4GB/64GB variant, CNY1,599 for the 6GB/64GB variant and CNY 1,899 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The Honor 9x Pro starts at CNY2,199 for the 8GB/128GB variant and CNY 2,399 for the 8GB/265GB variant. The Honor 9x will go on sale starting July 3o and the Pro model will go on sale later in August.
