Huawei has launched its first 5G budget smartphone in China. The Huawei Enjoy Z 5G is the first smartphone from the company to power the newly launched MediaTek’s Dimensity 800 chipset. The device also has a great set of cameras and other hardware.

The Huawei Enjoy Z 5G comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution. It is a 90Hz refresh rate panel with narrow bezels. The screen also has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The smartphone has a 91.2 % screen-to-body ratio and has the water-dop notch at the top.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Enjoy Z 5G holds a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 48-megapixel primary camera, another 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and the third 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel front camera for selfie shots.
Inside, there’s the latest MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of base RAM/Storage option. There’s also the top variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card slot.
The smartphone houses a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging technology. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock as security options. It runs on Android 10 out of the box with Huawei’s custom skin on top of it.
Heading to the pricing and color variants, the Enjoy Z 5G smartphone comes in Black, Blue, and Crystal color variants. It starts a CNY 1,699 or roughly ₹18,100/$238 for the 6GB/64GB variant, CNY 1,899 or roughly ₹20,200/$266 for the 6GB/128GB variant, and CNY 2,199 or roughly ₹23,420/$308 for the 8GB/128GB variant.
