Huawei Mate 30 Pro And Mate 30 Launched Without Google's Backbone; Complete Specs, Pricing, Availability

Huawei has launched the much-awaited smartphone from the company. The company is back with its Mate series smartphone with tons of new features and specs. Huawei Mate 30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro flagship smartphones come with impressive new cameras, chipset, and fresh curved edge design. Let’s take a look.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro

Both the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones come with a similar-looking design footprint, but the Pro model comes with a bunch extras that are actually impressive.

The smartphone comes with a 6.62-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a HDR10 and DCI-P3 support. The displays this time are said to be sharper and vibrant. Unlike the Pro model, it comes with a flat-screen display and a smaller notch at the top of the screen.

In terms of cameras, the smartphone sports a 40MP Super Sensing Wide lens(Primary lens), another 16MP ultra-wide lens, and the third 8MP telephoto lens. There is also the fourth Lases focus lens present in the circular camera ring. At the front, it sports a 24-megapixel selfie camera.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Kirin 990 chipset(4G) paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Surprisingly, even though it comes without the Google licensed apps, it still runs on Google’s Android 10.

In terms of pricing, the Huawei Mate 30 smartphone with 4G is priced at €800 for the only 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant.

The smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch OLED display with an HDR10 and DCI-P3 support. It comes with a curved edge display and a smaller notch at the top of the screen.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro

In terms of cameras, the smartphone sports a 40MP Super Sensing Wide lens(Primary lens), another 40MP ultra-wide lens, and the third 8MP telephoto lens. There is also the fourth 3D depth-sensing lens present in the circular camera ring.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Kirin 990 chipset(4G or 5G) paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Similar to the vanilla Mate 30 the Pro model also runs on EMUI based on Android 10.

In terms of pricing, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone with 4G is priced at €1,100 for the only 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant, whereas the 5G model will cost you €100 extra making it €1,200.

Other than this, Huawei has also developed its own service similar to Google Play services. The company will also offer Huawei AppGallery which is a replacement to Google’s Play Store.  The company has already invested $1 billion in the services department and the company seems to expand it further giving a slap on Google’s face.
