Samsung Galaxy Fold competitor Huawei Mate X which was in the news several times has been unveiled by the company at Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain. Huawei Mate X is the world’s first 5G foldable device and also packs in some amazing specifications and features.

Huawei Mate X is another working foldable device that is pretty interesting as it offers really great internals and is a direct competition to the Samsung Galaxy Fold.

The Huawei Mate X sports an 8-inch display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels when it’s unfolded and becomes a 6-inch display when it’s folded. It also sports a dual display just like the Vivo NEX dual-displays and Nubia X smartphones.

The foldable phone comes with a Leica lens and shoots amazing pictures with the primary camera. It also sports a secondary camera for selfies.

It is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The foldable phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner that doubles up as a power button as well. It features a 4,500 mAh battery which can via the USB Type-C port.

One major highlight is that it comes with a 55W fast charging support that can juice up the device up to 85% in just 30 minutes of charge.

Other than this, the Huawei Mate X comes at a price of $2,600(approx. Rs. 1,84,649) and should be available in Quarter 2 or Quarter 3.
