Huawei launched the P40 Lite smartphone a couple of months back, now the company has unveiled the Huawei P40 Lite 5G smartphone and it is different from the 4G model. The new 5G smartphone comes with different hardware while it resembles a bit like the older model. Let’s take a look at the details.
Huawei P40 Lite 5G Smartphone Details

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G smartphone comes with a clean look and has Huawei’s Nova 7 SE 5G smartphone’s design footprint. It sports a massive 6.5-inch display with FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is a hole-punch display with minimum bezels. The LCD panel is bright enough in the sunlight.
Moving to the optics, the smartphone features a Quad-camera setup holding the 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel secondary lens, another 2-megapixel macro lens, and the last 2-megapixel depth-sensing lens.
The P40 Lite 5G smartphone bags a HiSilicon Kirin 820 chipset bundled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage(expandable via microSD card slot). The Kirin 820 chipset is a 5G capable chipset which offers 5G connectivity on the new P40 Lite smartphone. It houses a 4,000mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging tech that is claimed to juice up the device rapidly.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face unlock as security options. The device also has the 3.5mm headphone jack for audio listening and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The smartphone runs on Android 10 out of the box with EMUI 10.1 on top of it.
The P40 Lite 5G smartphone comes in three color options – the Space Silver, Midnight Black, and Crush Green. It starts at EUR 399 or ₹32,800 and will be available for purchase on May 28.
