Motorola On Monday has launched the much-anticipated Motorola Razr foldable phone at an event in India. The smartphone that was launched globally four months back has officially arrived in the country available in an online-only way via Flipkart.
Motorola Razr Foldable Phone Arrives In India: Pricing, Offers, Specs!
The Company at the event claimed that it was the world’s first clamshell design phone when launched earlier globally. It is a compact design smartphone with rugged flip hardware.
Moving to the Specifications of the Razr phone, the foldable phone comes with an ultra-sleek design with an 6.2-inch OLED display inside and a 2.7-inch screen when folded. The inner display is of HD+ resolution and the smaller secondary display has a resolution of 600×800. The secondary display can be used to quickly check the notifications and messages.
In terms of optics, there is the 16-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera above the inner display. The cameras are not the major highlights but Motorola still claims it to shoot good portraits even in low-light.
Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The foldable phone runs on Andriod 10 out of the box(upgraded from Android Pie since its original launch) and has a 2,510mAh battery. It also bags a 15W fast charging tech. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the rear embossed in the Moto branding.
Other than this, the global variant had an eSIM support but we are unsure if it has the eSIM support here in India. If it has then Airtel and Jio would be the companies offering the service in the country.
Pricing And Offers
With all the innovative tech, what most of you would be waiting for is the pricing. The Motorola Razr foldable phone is priced at ₹1,24,999 in India and will be available via Flipkart. The pre-orders start on 2nd April in India.
Flipkart, Citi Bank, and Jio are some of the partners offering a variety of offers. With Citi Bank cards, buyers will get ₹10,000 cashback. Jio is offering a double data offer on ₹4,999 recharge and Flipkart is offering Plus coins.
