Nokia 7.2 is going to be the company’s next budget smartphone for this year. Well, the company hasn’t spoken a word about it and here we are with a fresh leak on its design and some specs. Nokia 7.2 will be the successor of 7.1 with some major design changes and spec upgrades. Let’s take a look at all the details.

The new case renders leak reveals the overall design of the smartphone. Nokia 7.2 seems to sport a full-screen display with a tiny front camera hole. At the rear, the case suggests two cut-outs, one is for the rear cameras and another cut-out is for the fingerprint scanner. The camera module seems to have changed from a vertical setup to a circular setup. It will house three rear cameras, possibly a primary lens with a wide-angle sensor and a depth sensor.

Nokia 7.2 will also retain the 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom alongside the speaker and USB Type-C port. This time around the smartphone is expected to come powered by the latest Snapdragon SoC. Rumours suggest a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM.

Other than this, the smartphone will be priced in the budget segment and should launch soon this year. Until then we expect to see more details on the smartphone in the coming weeks.
