Nubia has been a company that has offered some consistently good gaming smartphones. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer expanded its business in the Indian market a few years back and has been one of the top companies in the industry to offer some of the best gaming smartphones in China. Well, now, the upcoming Nubia Red Magic smartphone has been spotted online with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate panel. Let’s take a look.
Nubia Red Magic 5G Smartphone Details

The CEO of Nubia as shared a screenshot on Weibo that shows the potential of the upcoming Nubia gaming smartphone. The smartphone is called Red Magic 5G and it has four options to choose between the display refresh rate.
There’s the standard 60Hz option, a 90Hz option, 120Hz option, and the last 144Hz refresh rate option. Having a 144Hz refresh rate display is just bonkers and bliss for gamers.
Other than this, the smartphone was also said to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC for intense gaming. It will be 5G enabled as there’s the Snapdragon X55 modem.
It is also tipped to come with triple rear cameras and a huge battery. It is also expected to come with RGB LED lights as seen on other Nubia gaming smartphones.
The Nubia Red Magic 5G is also expected to come Android 10 and Nubia’s custom UI on top of it. The custom UI will be optimised for gaming needs.
That’s all we know far about the Nubia Red Magic 5G, the launch date and pricing is still a question, but we expect to see a new leak in the coming weeks. Once it is out, we’ll be the first one to notify you on the same.
