OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus Pro smartphone have been scheduled to launch on May 14 in some major countries including India and as it gets closer we have more leaks on the smartphones. This time we have camera samples of the OnePlus 7 Pro and they look just decent.
This camera samples leak show us a few images captured from the phone. There is a night mode that looks really good and definitely is better than its predecessor. The night mode captures a lot of details with less noise in the picture. But it’s not up to the mark as compared to Pixel’s nightscape.
The HDR sample from the OnePlus 7 Pro also looks pretty good. This time around, the phone seems to produce more natural images instead of overexposed and vibrant images. The primary sensor captures 12-megapixel binned photos instead of the full 48-megapixel resolution. The images are natural this time but still, it’s not that crazy or too much impressive. Producing natural images is what OnePlus seems to do here with the OnePlus 7 Pro’s camera but the photos tend to look a bit colourless.
Next up is the zoom camera sample, the zoomed photos from the camera of the phone looks less detailed but still retains a good quality image. There is a 3x lossless zoom on the phone but one can go up to 10x zoom with both optical and digital zooming.
All the camera samples above are decent enough but still, we think it’s not up to the mark. But this is just a leak, so let’s wait for May 14 where we’ll get to see the official images and a hands-on the cameras of the device.
