It’s summer and we are up close to May, this means it’s about time that the most loved smartphone brand OnePlus to launch their flagship smartphones for the year. CEO Pete Lau has already teased the commercial of the OnePlus 7 series and the launch date is also revealed. So let’s take a look at all the details.
OnePlus on its social media posted the first official commercial of the smartphone series and it is no doubt attention-grabbing. It is tagged with a tagline “Go Beyond Speed”, this refers to the chipset used in the smartphone that is the Snapdragon 855 which is the newest flagship chip. Other than this, the commercial of the smartphone doesn’t suggest much but the launch dates are unveiled officially.
OnePlus has scheduled an event for May 14 and the company will launch the successor of the OnePlus 6, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro in four countries. The new flagship phones will be first unveiled in India, UK, US, and China. The device will be launched in other countries soon after the initial launch in the first four major markets.
In India, the event will be held in Bangalore at 8:15 pm IST. Outside India, the other cities are New York(US), London(UK), and Beijing(China). The live stream of the whole event will be covered on OnePlus’s Youtube Channel and the tickets will go on sale in respective countries starting April 25th.
