After we got spoiled by the tremendous leaks of the OnePlus’s upcoming phones, now finally the CEO Pete Lau will announce the launch of the smartphones.



The CEO Pete Lau on twitter posted that he will announce the launch date of the upcoming OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone on next Tuesday. April 23rd will be the date on which we’ll get to know the official unveiling details of the next Flagship killers.

While we wait for the announcement, let’s recap some of the details we have gotten till now.

Quick Recap Of  The OnePlus 7 And OnePlus 7 Pro Details

This time around the company is expected to launch three smartphones, the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and a 5G enabled variant. OnePlus 7 will be a regular flagship phone with most of the standard set of features. Whereas the OnePlus 7 Pro will be a more advanced flagship in a premium segment. The 5G model will, of course, come with 5G support and other similar features to the Pro variant.

The OnePlus 7 will sport a 6.4-inch display with a tear-drop notch. It will come with a 48-megapixel primary sensor which is said to provide detailed images.  It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and will run on Android 9 Pie.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a 6.64-inch curved display without any notch. Instead of a notch, it will house a pop-up front camera which will make the phone completely bezel-less.  It will sport the came 48-megapixel primary sensor but will also come with an extra lens making it a triple camera phone. The device will be powered by and QualcommSnapdragon 855 SoC will sport a bigger battery than the regular OnePlus 7.

Other than this, the 5G enabled variant of the device come with a Snapdragon X50 model that will provide non-stop and fluid 5G network.

As said above, these OnePlus smartphones will get an official launch date on April 23rd but the tipped launch date is May 14. So get excited and ready for the upcoming Flagship killers.
