Oppo has launched a new budget smartphone at an event in China. The all-new Oppo A8 was launched alongside Oppo A91 and is cheaper than the A91 smartphone. It comes with triple rear cameras and a full-screen display, it also has a massive battery. Let’s take a look at all the highlights and specs of the smartphone.

The all-new Oppo A8 comes with a 6.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of HD+. It has a water-drop notch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It features a Triple-camera setup at the rear consisting of a 12-megapixel primary lens, another 2-megapixel depth sensor, and the third 2-megapixel macro lens.
It comes powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory(expandable via microSD card). It houses a massive 4,230mAh battery without any sort of fast charging tech.
The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and has Oppo’s ColorOS on top of it. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer.
The Oppo A8 comes in two finishes – Black and Azure colour variants. It starts at CNY 1,199 that is roughly $169 or ₹12,100 and it will go on sale starting December 26 in the country.
