Oppo has just launched the all-new Oppo Reno3 series at an event in China. There are a total of two models in the series, the Oppo Reno3 and Oppo Reno3 Pro. Both the smartphones come with a similar design footprint and are improved over the Reno2 series of smartphones. Let’s take a look at all the details.
Oppo Reno3 and Reno3 Pro comes with a sleek form factor and have an edge-to-edge design. Both the smartphones come with a 6.5-inch OLED display but the Pro has a 90Hz refresh rate panel whereas the vanilla Reno3 has the standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Both the smartphones also come with a similar rear design but the main differences are in internals, the Reno3 has a 64MP primary sensor which is accompanied by an ultra-wide lens, a portrait lens, and a black and white sensor.
The Oppo Reno3 Pro has a 48MP+8MP+13MP+2MP sensor, the Pro, therefore, has an edge with a telephoto lens. Both the smartphones come with the same 32MP front camera placed in the front display hole.
In terms of raw hardware, the Oppo Reno3 has a MediaTek Dimensity 1000L which has a Mali-G77 GPU. The Pro model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC which is enhanced for gaming needs. It is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
The Reno3 and the Reno3 Pro also come with the same battery life, there’s a 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC fast charging support. The smartphones come with a ColorOS 7 based on Android 10.
Other than this, both the smartphones are 5G enabled and should support top telecom networks.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Oppo Reno3 starts at CNY 3,399(₹34,600/$485) and the Reno3 Pro starts at CNY 3,999(₹40,650/$570). Both the smartphones will go on pre-orders from December 31.
