In the past, we covered the Oppo’s upcoming smartphone that was said to sport the under-display camera technology. The invite for the MWC Shanghai event was sent out by the company and it revealed the possible upper portion design. Well, now the company has teased a new video that shows the entire front panel of the smartphone.
The video shared by the company is pretty interesting as it first shows off the old front camera technology starting from the flip camera to the latest under-display technology. The video doesn’t suggest much but just gives us a closer looks a the front panel. The front camera will be placed at the top center of the smartphone. It also appears that it has a speaker grill above the front camera. It will also probably come with curved edges similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro and Samsung’s Edge devices.
When the user will turn on the camera application and switch to the front camera, a soft light will glow showing that the camera has been turned on. This is great as it will remind the user to look at the lens as it will be hidden under the display.
Other than this, the smartphone’s prototype will be showcased at the Chinese MWC event held in Shanghai, China. All other details such as the design, specs, and hardware will be known soon as we expect the next batch of leaks to arrive soon.
