Qualcomm has launched a new chipset at an event on Tuesday. The all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G is a mid-range SoC that is said to power most of the budget and mid-range devices in 2020. Let’s take a look at the specs and details.

Let’s first talk about the support, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G will support HDR content, extensive gaming, and dynamic colour range. It also has support for Qualcomm’s aptX adaptive technology.
In terms of the technical details, the chipset is based on an 8nm unit. It has a 2.3Ghz octa-core CPU with Adreno 618 GPU. It has a Snapdragon X15 LTE modem that supports download speeds up to 800 Mbps and upload speed up to 300mbps.
It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth version 5.1. It also has a Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support.
Other than this, some leading Chinese smartphone brands such as Realme and Xiaomi have already confirmed that its new smartphones will come with the new generation Snapdragon chipsets.
