While discussing sales figures for the already launched Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro at an event, CEO Madhav Sheth shifted to company’s new Realme XT smartphone. The new Realme XT creates a buzz in the market by filling most of the gaps the company was yet to capture. New mid-ranger packs a 64MP camera sensor, In-display fingerprint scanner, and a powerful chipset. Let’s take a look at all the details.
Realme XT sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display also has In-display fingerprint scanner tech for security purposes.
In terms of optics, the smartphone rocks four cameras at the rear, the so-called ‘Quad Xpert’ has a 64MP primary lens, another 8MP lens, and two 2MP lenses one being a macro lens and the other one being a depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel camera housed in the water-drop notch.
The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 9 Pie and has a massive 4,000mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with 20W fast charging support and Dolby Atmos support.
Other than this, the company also included the new Hyperbola Design and Hyperboost 2.0 technology in the smartphone. It debuts in two color variants, Pearl Blue and Pearl White.
Realme XT starts at ₹15,999 for the base 4GB+64GB variant, ₹16,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant, and ₹18,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. The device will go on sale on September 16 at 2 pm in the country.
The company also revealed that it will be launching a Realme XT with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G in late December. It will rock a faster 30W fast charging instead of 20W which is found in the one launched today.
