Redmi 8 was just spotted on TENAA a day back and now it’s live in a hands-on image surfaced online. The image reveals some major design aspects and front and rear profile view. It also confirms some specs that we saw on Chinese certification TENAA. Let’s take a look at all the details.
Firstly, the hands-on images confirm the similar-looking rear design across all Redmi 8 series smartphones. The Redmi 8A, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro all will have a similar looking rear design. The Redmi 8 will sport a dual-camera setup instead of a triple camera module on the Note 8 series.
At the front, the smartphone will sport a notch display with Redmi branding at the bottom of the smartphone. The smartphone will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and will come with a massive 5,000mAh battery.
Other than this, it also is expected to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run on the latest MIUI based on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The launch date and pricing is yet to be known but what we know so far is that the device will arrive in a wide range of colour options and should be available in major markets like China and India.
