After successfully selling the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone in India, the company is now all set to reach even higher targets with the new Redmi Note 7S. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7S smartphone by expanding the Note 7 series in the country. It’s actually the regular Note 7 smartphone but with some camera changes and other minor changes.
The Redmi Note 7S sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a U-shaped notch or the water-drop notch. It comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection making it more durable. So there is nothing much different here from the Note 7 smartphone. But the cameras this time is powered by Samsung. It houses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. This lens will offer a 12MP detailed image by merging 4 pixels into 1. It will be accompanied by another 5-megapixel sensor which will help in depth effects.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz which is paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone also houses a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support. It runs on Android 9 Pie and will run MIUI on top of it.
The Redmi Note 7S comes in Ruby Red, Onyx Balck, and Sapphire Blue finishes. It starts at Rs. 10,999 for the base 3GB/32GB variant and Rs. 12,999 for the maxed out 4GB/64GB variant. The device will be available for purchase starting May 23 exclusively on Flipkart.
