Xiaomi started it’s Redmi Y series that focused mainly on cameras as back in the days the company had poor optics in their smartphones, but all of that has changed from last year as the regular Note series also packs decent cameras these days. But still continuing the Y series, the company is going to launch another smartphone under the series, the Redmi Y3 that is scheduled to launch on April 24.
The camera-centric or more of selfie-centric Redmi Y3 will launch in India on April 24. The company also teased the phone by collaborating with superstar Ranveer Singh in a flashy advertisement.
Now that we know it’s launch date, let’ s list down some quick specifications of the smartphone that was leaked over the course of time.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y3 will be a selfie-centric smartphone and the company has already revealed the optics. It will sport a whopping 32-megapixel front selfie camera that is tipped to click amazing shots. The rear cameras will also be decent as per the information online.
It will sport a massive battery and is said to offer 2-day battery life at ease. This time around the smartphone will be durable as it is expected to be splash proof. The device’s chipset is not confirmed yet, but it will surely come in base 3GB of RAM and should go up to 4GB or 6GB.
That’s what we know so far about the Redmi Y3, but we expect to see some sort of a teaser as there are still a few days left for the official unveiling.
