Samsung today unveiled the all-new Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 at an event in India. Both the smartphones come with really amazing specifications and is a straight competition to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series. Although it comes with higher pricing than the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro it still packs a lot of features and also an In-display fingerprint scanner. So let’s take a look at its details.

Samsung Galaxy A30 Specifications, Features and Pricing:



Samsung Galaxy A30 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+(23340×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a tear-drop notch. This means it sports the new Infinity-U display with minimum bezels. One great part of the device is its design. It sports a polycarbonate plastic body but still looks and feels premium in hands.

Moving to the cameras, it comes with a dual-camera setup consisting of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens. Another 5-megapixel secondary sensor is the depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. On the front, it features the 25-megapixel fixed-focus lens for selfies.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A30 is powered by an Exynos 7904 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage(expandable via microSD card up to 512GB). It houses a 4,000mAh battery with a 15W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and runs on Samsung’s One UI on top of it.

The Galaxy A30 is priced for Rs. 16,990 and comes in three colour options, the Black, Blue, and Red. The device will go on sale starting March 2 in India.

Samsung Galaxy A50 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+(23340×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a tear-drop notch and it has a 91.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio. This means it sports the new Infinity-U display with minimum bezels. One great part of the device is its design. It sports a polycarbonate plastic body but still looks and feels premium in hands. It also shines in different lighting conditions that give it a premium look.

Moving to the cameras, it comes with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 25-megapixel+5-megapixel+8-megapixel sensor. One of the cameras is a wide-angle lens. On the front, it features the 25-megapixel fixed-focus lens for selfies.

One of the major highlights of the Galaxy A50 is the In-display fingerprint scanner. The device sports an optical In-display fingerprint scanner which is as fast as the sensor seen on the Galaxy S10.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A50 is powered by an Exynos 9610 chipset which is equivalent to the Snapdragon 660 SoC. This is paired with two options, a 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage option and a 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage option.

Just like the Galaxy A30, the A50 also houses a 4,000mAh battery with a 15W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and runs on Samsung’s One UI on top of it.

The Galaxy A50 is priced for Rs. 19,990 for the 4GB/64GB and Rs. 22,990 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The device comes in three colour options, the Black, Blue, and White. The device will go on sale starting March 2 in India.
