Samsung launched three new smartphones in India, the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50. Now to fill the gap, the company is said to launch the Samsung Galaxy A40 smartphone. The pricing for the device has been leaked along with some important details.
In the past, the Samsung Galaxy A40 was rumoured to launch along with other A-series smartphone but it didn’t happen so. Now the Galaxy A40 will launch separately in coming months, however, the exact release date is yet to be known.
According to MySmartprice, the Galaxy A40 will come with a price tag of $280(approximately Rs. 19,876). This means the smartphone will fall in the budget segment and will be filling the gap between Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50.
Other than this, the rumoured specifications of the device are pretty similar to some other devices which Samsung has already unveiled in that particular segment. The Galaxy A40 is tipped to come powered by Exynos 7904 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. To recall, this is the same chipset seen on Galaxy A30, Galaxy M20 and M30. But a previously leaked benchmark revealed an Exynos 7885 chipset.
It will also sport a massive battery similar to all other A series devices and will run on Samsung’s One UI based on Android 9 Pie.
That’s what we know so far but once more details are out, we’ll be the first one to notify you on the same.
