With some improvements, feedback, and changes, the all-new Samsung Galaxy Fold has officially launched in the Indian market. The company originally announced it in February this year but had some durability issues due to which the Foldable phone was sent back for some improvements and now it’s finally here. This is the first foldable phone to debut in the Indian market and is expected to create hype in the market.
Samsung Galaxy Fold specifications and details
Design & Looks:
The all-new Samsung Galaxy Fold sports the new foldable design with two displays. The primary display has a 7.1-inch Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED technology with a resolution of 2152×1536 pixels. Cameras:
Being a foldable phone we might think that only the display technology is good but here on the Galaxy Fold, it rocks a triple rear camera setup. It also has a 10-megapixel camera above the primary display.
Hardware & Software:
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It houses a 4,380mAh battery with support for both wireless and wired charging. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The foldable phone also comes with Wireless PowerShare feature which is basically helpful for reverse wireless charging.
The Galaxy Fold runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and has Samsung’s latest One UI on top of it. It will also get upgraded to Android 10 in the Future.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold is priced at ₹1,64,999 in India. It will go for pre-orders on October 4 and will be shipped on October 20 in the country.
