Since the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Zoom and Google Duo video chatting applications are on the rise. Just recently, PM Modi suggested #GoLocal and #VocalforLocal movement where he emphasized on using local things made within the country’s boundary. Now, with the Say Namaste app, users can try out an India made video calling application.

End-to-End Encryption

The Inscriptions developed software, ‘Say Namaste’, is secured with 1:1 encryption. But just like Zoom, the application is not end-to-end encrypted for videos but is secure and the data stays within the Indian boundaries. The company claims that private data and information will be secure and known only to that particular user.

The CEO Anuj Garg states that the application uses A256 bit encryption and the user data is encrypted in-transit and at-rest.

Availability 

For now, the application is not available on the iOS App Store or Android’s Playstore but users’ can visit their website to start video chatting. The application version will be available soon.
