To recall, other smartphone manufacturers have already played with the punch-hole setup and up for something new in 2020, but Sony seems to implement that technology next year.

A Sony smartphone design from Database reveals a multi-window functionality, it also reveals the wide 21:9 aspect ratio screen. Unlike earlier, now the time and the battery indicator will be on extreme sides while the center being empty. This hints for a punch-hole display.

Based on this patent, a new render created by LetsGoDigital showcases the actual front design of the smartphone. It has an exact similar punch-hole set up as the latest Galaxy devices. It also reveals thin bezels.

We are yet to learn more about the smartphone, but some rumors suggest the latest Snapdragon processor and 12GB of RAM. It will also come with a large 21:9 aspect ratio screen. The device will also run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
