Vivo iQOO was in the headlines as the smartphone was teased and leaked several times, but now the company has finally revealed the smartphone at an event on Friday.
The Vivo iQOO is officially said to be a gaming smartphone and the specs say it all. Said that the company markets the phone with the slogan “Monster Inside”.
iQOO sports a 6.41-inch OLED display panel with a water-drop or tear-drop notch. One of the major highlights here is the integration of Under display fingerprint scanner. The company claims it to be fast and accurate.
Though it’s a gaming smartphone it comes with a triple camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel wide angle lens, a 12-megapixel shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensing lens. It features Sony IMX263 sensors.
Now moving to its major highlight, the Vivo iQOO is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It houses a 4,000mAh battery which is backed up by 44W fast charging support. However, the 44W fast charging support will only be on the higher RAM/storage variant, the base 6GB/12GB model will only have the 22.5W fast charging support.

The Vivo iQOO comes in two colour options, the Lava Orange and Electric Blue.
The device starts at CNY2,998(approx. $450/Rs. 31,904) for the 6GB/128GB variant, CNY3,298(approx. $490/Rs. 34,740) for the 8GB/128GB variant, and CNY4,298(approx. $640/Rs. 45,375) for the maxed our 12GB/256GB variant. The smartphone will go on sale on March 6 at 10 AM China Time.
