Vivo iQOO Neo 855 With 33W Fast Charging And Snapdragon 855 SoC Launched

Vivo has launched its latest flagship smartphone at an event in China. The new Vivo iQOO Neo 855 is a gaming smartphone that comes with flagship-grade specifications and is a successor of the iQOO Neo smartphone that debuted with Snapdragon 845. Let’s take a look at all the highlights and specifications of the smartphone.

Vivo iQOO Neo 855

The all-new Vivo iQOO Neo 855 smartphone sports a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a notch at the top of the screen. The phone manages the overall design by keeping the bezels thin but still has some bezels at the top and bottom. The display also adds up as an In-display fingerprint scanner that is claimed to unlock the smartphone instantly.

In terms of optics, the smartphone features a triple rear camera and a single front-facing camera. The rear consists of a 12-megapixel primary sensor, another 8-megapixel sensor, and the third 2-megapixel depth sensor. The single front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel lens that comes with a ton of modes for better selfies.

As the name suggests, the smartphone actually has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip inside. It is paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB or 256GB of internal memory. It houses a 4,500mAh battery with amazing 33W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and has a custom UI on top of it.

Vivo iQOO Neo 855 also has liquid cooling support that is said to cool the device while playing games or doing heavy tasks. It also has the Game Magic 2.5 and Game Magic Box features that make it a great gaming smartphone.

Other than this, the device comes in Black, Purple and Aurora White colour variants. It starts at CNY 1,998(roughly 20,000) for the base variant with 6GB RAM/64GB internal memory and goes all the way up to CNY 2,698(roughly ₹27,100) for the maxed out variant with 8GB RAM/ 256GB internal memory.
