After Oppo, Vivo is all set to showcase a new smartphone with curved edges. The technology seems to have flown all over the market, first, we saw Samsung doing it, then OnePlus, Oppo and now Vivo as well. This is probably Vivo’s upcoming Vivo NEX 3 smartphone. Aside from the regular curved screen, the Vivo’s display will be extremely curved with no buttons on any of the sides.
Vivo’s Xiang has shared a sketch poster of the upcoming Vivo NEX 3 smartphone that reveals a chunk of details. Firstly, it will be an all-screen smartphone without any sort of notch. Of course, we have seen some innovative designs in the NEX series in the past and this year as well we get an overall unique smartphone.
The Vivo NEX 3 will also sport a triple camera setup at the rear housed within the circular setup. Vivo claims that it is inspired by the circular design of wristwatches. In terms of the front camera, it is expected to be a pop-out unit or some fancy mechanism. Other than this, the smartphone will come with a single speaker setup at the bottom beside the microphone. It is also expected to sustain the 3.5mm headphone jack and feature a bigger battery and In-display fingerprint scanner.
The launch date of the smartphone is not yet revealed but this leak suggests that the launch is not far away.
