Vivo launched the V15 Pro smartphone a couple of weeks back in India and now a similar looking Vivo smartphone is said to launch soon in China. This similar looking device is the Vivo S1 whose specifications and other details got leaked recently, so let’s take a look at them.
A post on Weibo revealed the Vivo S1 and suggested that it will come with a selfie pop-up camera similar to Vivo V15 Pro. It will also borrow some design footprints from Vivo V15 Pro but it will not look completely similar as such.
The Vivo S1 will sport a 6.53-inch full-HD+(2340×1080 pixels) IPS panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. As it will come with a pop-up camera the display will be completely bezel-less meaning no notch or hole for the camera.
Under the hood, it will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory(expandable via MicroSD card). Just like the Vivo V15 Pro smartphone, the Vivo S1 will also feature triple rear camera setup consisting of 12-megapixel+8-megapixel+5-megapixel sensors. On the front, it is expected to sport a 24.8-megapixel sensor house in the pop-up camera.
Other than this, the Weibo leaks also reveal the expected pricing of the device. The smartphone will come in only one variant(6GB/128GB) and will be priced at RMB 2,000(approx. $300 or Rs. 20,800).
