Vivo S1 With 32MP Selfie Camera And Reverse Charging Launched In India; Starts At Rs. 17,990

Vivo has launched its new smartphone in India, the Vivo S1 which is the rebranded Y7s that launched a few weeks back in China. Vivo has targeted the smartphone in the mid-range segment and has also provided triple cameras and a bigger battery. Let’s take a look at all the details.

Vivo S1

Vivo S1 sports a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch at the top. Overall there are minimum bezels maintained but at the bottom, the chin is thicker. In terms of cameras, it sports a triple camera module consisting of a 16-megapixel primary lens, with an additional 8-megapixel lens and the third 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the Vivo S1 goes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and is upgradable to the next Android version. It houses a 4,500mAh battery with an 18W fast charging support. Vivo has also provided reverse charging which basically allows you to share some juice with other devices.

One of the highlighting features of Vivo S1 is it’s Flash In-display fingerprint scanner that Vivo claims to unlock the smartphone instantly. Other highlights are its Ultra Gaming mode and Jovi Ai, assistant.

The smartphone comes in Skyline Blue and Diamond Black finishes and starts at Rs. 17,990 for 4GB+128GB variant, Rs. 18,990 for 6GB+64GB variant and Rs. 19,990 for 6GB + 128GB variant. The device will go on sale starting today.
