Just a couple of days back we got to know that the upcoming mid-ranger from the Vivo, the Vivo S5 will debut on November 14. We also got some leaks on the device and now finally an official poster from the company itself has been shared online.
The upcoming Vivo S5 smartphone’s official poster shows the device from both the front and rear. We get to see a very unique camera setup at the rear, basically, it is a Quad camera setup with weird placements. It has three camera lenses in the module while the fourth lens is out of the module.
The poster of the device does not share many details but it shares the camera spec of the primary lens. The smartphone will sport a 48-megapixel primary camera accompanied by other camera lenses.
At the front, it has a completely bezel-less design with a hole-punch front camera at the top right side. The smartphone is pretty thin compared to the competition and should also be lightweight due to this fact.
That’s just what we have learned from this poster but thankfully we have got the TENAA certification of the smartphone. According to it, the Vivo S5 will come with a 6.44-inch hole-punch display with an FHD+ resolution screen.
It will sport a 32MP front camera for selfies and a 48-megapixel rear primary camera. There will also be an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and the last lens being a 2-megapixel macro sensor. This will be the complete quad-camera setup of the device.
What will power the device will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. It will ship with a 4,010mAh battery with some sort of fast charging solution. The device will run a custom UI based on Android 9 and should be upgradable to Android 10.
If we talk about the pricing and availability, the device should come in a mid-range segment and will launch on November 14, shipping will be after a week.
