Vivo Y5s Launched With MediaTek Helio SoC And 5,000mAh Battery

Vivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone at an event in China. The all-new Vivo Y5s smartphone is a new Y-series device and Vivo’s attempt to compete with other smartphone brands at the set price point. The device comes with MediaTek SoC and has a massive 5,000mAh battery. Let’s take a look at all the highlights and details.

Vivo Y5s

The Vivo Y5s comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with minimum bezels. It has a water-drop notch at the top of the screen which houses the front camera sensor. Talking about the cameras, there is a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary camera, 8MP secondary cameras, and there’s a third 2MP macro lens. At the front, the notch houses a 13MP selfie snapper.

Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P65 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android 9 Pie and has Funtouch OS on top of it. It houses a massive 5,000mAh battery which is claimed to last for more than a day.

It comes in a variety of colour options and starts at CNY 1,500 which is roughly ₹14,999. The device will soon ship there but India and global availability is still a question. But once more details are out we will be the first one to notify you on the same.
