Xiaomi Black Shark 2 smartphone is what Xiaomi fans have been waiting for and finally, the launch date of the smartphone is out. It will be launched on March 18 with beast specifications and features. The registration for the phone has also started today along with some details on the phone’s poster.
The Black Shark 2 will be the successor of the Black Shark 1 which the company unveiled last year. It got a really good response from smartphone gamers around the world and so the company will be unveiling the second generation with upgraded specifications.
Before we list down it’s expected and leaked specifications let’s take a look at registration details.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 pre-order registrations page have been seen on Xiaomi’s website but the price of the phone is CNY 9,999 which is $1,500(roughly Rs. 1,04,386). This we believe is just a marketing technique as the company clearly cannot quote that price, especially for a Xiaomi gaming phone. This is even higher than the flagships launched this year from big players.
In the past, we have seen this from many smartphone brands where they scratch the listed pricing and launch the device at a much cheaper rate making it more appealing to buyers.
Other than this, a couple of posters for the phone reveals Snapdragon 855 and 12GB of RAM which was already leaked but this further confirms it. It will also come with some sort of cooling mechanism similar to what we saw on the first generation Black Shark. There will also be a LED glowing Black shark logo which will give it a cooler look.
