Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi offers some good value smartphones in the market. Most of the smartphones from the company run on Xiaomi’s custom skin MIUI which people tend to like in terms of features. But the company launched an Android One smartphone which was called as the Mi A1 which attracted many users considering a fresh stock android running on that Xiaomi’s affordable phone. This saga continued with Xiaomi Mi A2 which also got a good response and now it is said that the company is working on the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi 3 was not confirmed by the company themselves but looking at the response that Mi A2 got we were very positive that the Mi A3 smartphone will definitely happen soon. But now a report from XDA Developers suggests a Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite models.
According to the sources, the company is working on the upcoming Android one phone which could possibly be the Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone. Now a device with the code-name “orchid_sprout” was spotted running on Android Pie based system. Now to recall, the Mi A2 also had a code-name with the suffix ‘sprout’ and even the Mi A1.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 was codenamed as “tissot_sprout” and the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite were codenamed as “jasmine_sprout” and “daisy_sprout” respectively. All this confirms that the device will possibly be the Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone.
Other than this, the smartphone is said come with NFC support and a great set of cameras. Besides that no other specifications of the device are known to us but as seen on the Mi A2 smartphone, we can pretty much confirm that the Mi A3 will also skip on the 3.5mm headphone jack.
