Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi CC9 was spotted in numerous leaks and promotional videos in the past. Just a day back the smartphone’s colour variants and design were teased. Now the smartphone’s more images and specs have been surfaced.
This time around the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu edition has been seen, it looks exactly similar to the regular edition just that it has a different dual-tone kind of colour and a Meitu logo at the bottom left. The company’s CEO Lei Jun also confirmed that there will be a special edition of the smartphone. He also posted an image of the Mi CC9 special edition’s box that was bigger than the regular box of the smartphone.
The smartphone was then again spotted on TENAA revealing its whole design. One thing to notice is that is will not retain the 3.5mm headphone jack instead users have to rely on Bluetooth earphones. Some specs of the smartphone were also revealed so let’s take a look at them.
Xiaomi’s Mi CC9 smartphone and the Meitu edition will rock similar specs. The smartphone will sport a 6.39-inch OLED display with a FullHD+ resolution. At the front, it will feature a whopping 32-megapixel selfie snapper. It will also come with a triple camera setup at the rear featuring a 48-megapixel primary lens. Other two lenses will probably be a depth sensor and a wide-angle lens.
Under the hood, it is expected to boost a mid-range Snapdragon SoC paired with three RAM and storage variants. A 4GB+64GB variant, another 6GB+128GB variant, and the third 8GB+256GB variant. The smartphone will house a 3,940mAh battery and will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The Meitu edition of the smartphone just looks different and has a Meitu branding at the bottom, other than this, the physical appearance is almost similar. Being a special edition smartphone we expect it to come with some significant features.
