Xiaomi’s Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain has tagged the phone as, “Game Changer Device” which hints that the phone will be beast at the set price point. Now that there are only a few days left until the smartphone arrives, let’s take a look at the current market in India and how Xiaomi will change the game again.

The Indian smartphone market has been changing from the past couple of years and more consumers are preferring budget smartphone these days. Xiaomi, since it’s first year of launch, has been very aggressive with the pricing of their smartphones which highly impacted the market. This made every other smartphone maker’s sales stagnant, but only after Xiaomi’s success in the Indian market many other manufacturers stepped into this budget segment and made a mark. Brands like Realme, Asus, and even Nokia and Samsung stepped into this segment. This impacted Xiaomi sales as all other brands were catching up. But this year Xiaomi is said to again change the game with the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro smartphone.

As per few rumours, the company will launch the upcoming Redmi Note 7 featuring the Snapdragon 660 at just under Rs. 11,000 which is bonkers. However, do take this information with a pinch of salt as these are just rumours and tipped information. The smartphone will also come with shatter-proof Gorilla Glass protection and Up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The phone will also sport a massive 48-megapixel sensor at the rear, it will also feature a 13-megapixel selfie sensor at the front. Just like all other Xiaomi phones, the Redmi Note 7 will also house a bigger 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4 support.

All this at an aggressive pricing will surely change the game, but let’s wait till the launch as the official pricing will be released at the event on February 28.

Other than this, the company is also expected to launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro with Snapdragon 675 and better hardware than the regular Note 7.
