Xiaomi’s sister brand, Poco has been winning the hearts of the people with its budget-oriented price range but flagship processors and other specs. The Poco F1 was launched months ago and since then there have been issues with the device such as display leak, notch issues and etc. Well, they got fixed and now the sales are back to normal.

A couple of days ago, Manu Kumar Jain, Global Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India had quoted a tweet from C Manmohan, General Manager of Poco India, as seen below. The tweet mentioned the possibility of a new Poco device coming to the markets. Now, we are not sure whether they were referring to the Poco F1 Armoured Edition or a successor to the same, but let’s wait and watch.

The Poco F1 Armoured Edition was launched today in India at just INR 23,999 for the 128GB variant and INR 28,999 for the 256GB model.

In simple terms, the latest edition of Armoured Edition replaces the normal polycarbonate back material with Dupont Kevlar, which seems to be more durable.

Other than the above changes there was nothing else retouched, the device sports a 6.18inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and is available in 6GB/8GB RAM variants coupled with 64GB/128GB/256GB storage variants.

The Poco F1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and as for the cameras, it sports the same dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor from Samsung. To the front, the device comes with a 20-Megapixel selfie camera with support for face unlock.
