Xiaomi has been doing very well, market-wise especially with their latest flagship series, the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro. Both devices are set to launch in India in the coming weeks and people are going bonkers about it. Fans are flooding the company’s social media handles requesting they get it launched as soon as possible. Xiaomi’s Manu Kumar Jain also confirmed the arrival of the device and its just a matter of time.
In the meantime, we came across something interesting. Xiaomi is planning on announcing a new smartphone series which will be called CC, as of now we don’t have any official information on the abbreviation. Lei Jun, the company CEO, earlier this month suggested that the series is targeted towards young and creative people. The first phone is said to be Xiaomi CC9 and will arrive in July, probably the first week.
A few days ago, an invitation to the event which is scheduled to take place in Beijing, China on the 2nd of July was found on the company’s Weibo feed. You can check the image below.
There has been no leak in regards to this. However, since all the devices nowadays are following a trend of triple to quad camera lens, no notch, in-display fingerprint sensor, and stuff we might be able to witness something similar to that.
Also, a flip mechanism for the rear three cameras is imminent since the collaboration between Xiamo and Meitu. The same tech was earlier spotted on Zenfone 6 or the Asus 6Z.
