The Poco F2 is a highly anticipated device to be launched by PocoPhone, the sister brand to Xiaomi. A few days ago, C Manmohan, General Manager of Poco India teased the new Poco device on Twitter.
The Poco F1 has received a high number of sales, the main reason being the Snapdragon 845 SoC at this price range. Now, people want more. The alleged Poco F2 was spotted on Geekbench with all the key specs listed.
As of now, the launch date is yet to be picked. The device as per GeekBench results will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and also, it’ll come with Android Pie 9.0 out of the box. The Poco F1 also rocked the Snapdragon 845 SoC, which brings us to the question, what exactly is the point of launching a whole new device with the same processor, also, keep in mind Poco launched a 128GB variant of the Poco F1 couple of days ago.
Also, the alleged Poco F2 will come with 6GB RAM although, there’s no listing of an 8GB RAM variant, there’s a high chance of that accompanying the latter variant. The device listed on GeekBench received a single-core score of 2,321 and multi-core score of 7,654.
The Poco F1 was first launched back in August to compete against the budget oriented devices such as Asus Zenfone 5Z, Honor Play and also OnePlus 6. Poco F1 was priced at Rs. 20,999, it’ll be interesting to see what price tag Poco F2 will be carrying.
