Asus ROG Phone

The Mobile gaming market is widening day-by-day and with more and more brands adapting to it we are now able to see more and more launches with devices dedicated to gaming. The trend started off with the Razer gaming smartphone which was later followed by Xiaomi’s BlackShark, Honor Play and last but not the least, the Asus ROG. The ROG series has a huge amount of fanbase since it originates from PC gaming which everyone likes.

Now, Asus probably had the best gaming tech among the lot mentioned above, the Taiwanese manufacturer provided tons of features and various accessories for gaming purpose which led to it being one of the best in the market till date. Although, it did carry a heavy price tag, but, yes it also came with an RGB logo to the back which every gamer adores. According to reports close to the company, a new ROG phone is under construction.

This time around, Asus has planned on to shake hands with popular Chinese gaming publisher Tencent whom you might recognize if you navigate to your PUBG Mobile app. The smartphone manufacturer tied up with Tencent in order to reach more mobile gamers out there. However, till date, there’s no word on the specification and the price tag the ROG 2 will carry and also we are yet to know what it’ll be called.

The successor will most likely come with Snapdragon 855 and up to 10GB RAM considering the fact that the first version of ROG came with 8GB RAM coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
