Apple might launch a smaller and a cheaper version of an iPhone which will have the iPhone X like edge to edge infinity display and the notch on the top. A video was leaked recently which showed the rumoured iPhone SE2 in it.

And now we have seen renders from BGR which shows a very similar looking device. There are chances that instead of launching of the iPhone SE2 Apple might call this leaked device a smaller iPhone X.  Ming-Chi Kuo KGI Securities analyst already mentioned that this year there will be three new iPhones. And according to him it will be iPhone X successor, a plus variant which said to have an OLED display and the Smaller iPhone X which will be coming with an LCD display.

The new leaked video shows that the coming phone will have the LCD panel and it might not have all the premium features which we have seen in the original iPhone X to cut the cost. It will have the design of the iPhone SE or the iPhone 5s but with the edge-to-edge screen.

In the sketches we didn’t see the home button which means that company might stick to the Face-D in this low cost iPhone. In terms of the design and build quality it will have the aluminium Frame instead of the stainless steel frame. Power button will be on the top of the device with the rounder volume rocker and ringer switch on the left side. On the bottom we will have the lightning port and the loudspeaker.  There will be no headphone jack on this new iPhone unlike the iPhone SE and the 5S.

It is expected to hear soon about the WWDC 2018 event from Apple which is starting from 4th June later this year. Apart from this new iPhone Apple is also rumoured to launch affordable MacBook and the iPad this year.  So stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming details of the new iPhone, iPad and the MacBook.
