Xiaomi Launched Redmi 5 in India Today and the Phone is available through the Mi.com and Amazon.in Redmi 5 is the smaller variant of the recently launched Redmi Note 5, which is known elsewhere as Redmi 5 Plus.
Redmi 5 has a 5.7-inch, 1440X720p IPS LCD screen with the aspect ratio of 18:9. The processor of the phone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 with RAM option of 2GB, 3GB and 4GB. The storage option are 16GB and 32GB. Talking about the camera the phone has a 12 megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f2.2 and PDAF.
The front shooter is a 5 megapixel and also comes with the beautify 3.0 software. in terms of battery the phone is powered by 3300 mAh battery and it doesn’t support fast charging. Redmi 5 runs on the MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat 7.1
First Sale of the phone is on 20th March 12:00 PM IST. Redmi 5 is priced at Rs. 7999 2GB/16GB Storage, Rs. 8999 3GB/32GB Storage and 10,999 for the 4GB RAM/64 GB Variant.
