Vivo’s sister brand iQoo has been creating some hype around the community, with its launch imminent in China on March 1st. The company has teased the launch on its official social media handles which revealed several features of the upcoming device.
According to a leak on Weibo, a very popular micro-blogging website originated in China. The report suggests that the company will unveil the device at an event which will be held in Shenzhen, China on March 1. iQoo has asked the fans to register for the event and a select number of fans will be flown to attend the live event.
The main highlight of the device has to be the Snapdragon 855 SoC which the company has been teasing for quite a while now. The launch teaser of the device specifically mentions that the device is ‘born powerful and monster insider’. The latter tagline might be the indication for the latest and greatest processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855.
iQoo had earlier confirmed that their upcoming flagship will consist of a massive 4,000mAh battery which will support 44W fast charging. Also, the company has not stopped bragging about the whopping 12GB RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage that it’ll be featuring. The spec train does not stop here. The device is said to feature the trendy and the latest in-display fingerprint sensor (image above). Also, Vivo’s Super HDR technology will be available on the iQoo device.
