Samsung in April announced the Galaxy A70 and the A80 in Thailand. Ever since the Galaxy A70 was made official in the Indian markets, it has gone on sale. Whereas the Galaxy A90 was nowhere to be seen. Well, until now. According to reports, the Galaxy A80 is set to make an appearance in the markets and the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will be holding an exclusive preview for the device in different cities probably, in the next week.
The event is said to be held on June 8 and 9 and will allow fans to experience the device ahead of its official launch. Popular publication in regards to Samsung, Sammobile reported that the events will be held across Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Bangalore. The event is said to kick start at 6 PM IST and everything is planned for it. Registrations can be made via the Samsung Members app. Details about the venue will be notified to users via the app.
The main highlight of the device, launched back in April, is the rotating triple camera system used in the pop-up camera. The phone is said to come with a price tag of around 40k to 50k INR, which means Samsung is planning on competing against the likes of the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro and also the Oppo Reno.
The device went on sale in select markets last week in Angel Gold, Ghost White, and Phantom Black color variants
