Vivo has been on seventh heaven with its recent launches. The Vivo V15 Pro has been creating some hype around the Indian markets. Meanwhile, the company has launched its Vivo U1 in China with the trendy WaterDrop Notch.
The Vivo U1 runs on FunTouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 and the device sports a 6.2inch HD LCD display with a WaterDrop Notch as mentioned above. Under the hood, the Vivo U1 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and onboard storage of 64GB which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
As for the optics, the Vivo U1 features a dual-rear camera setup with a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. As for the selfies, the U1 comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with features such as AR shoot, beauty mode, panorama and etc which are social media ready.
The U1 packs in a 4,030mAh battery which is enough to run throughout a day. Also, the Vivo U1 comes with a fingerprint sensor below the rear cameras and also you can unlock the device with your face as it supports face Unlock.
The Vivo U1 comes with a price tag of CNY 799 which comes approx to Rs. 8,400 INR for the 3GB RAM and 32GB variant and around CNY 1,199 for its 4GB RAM and 64GB variant. The device will be available in Aurora Red, Starry Black, and Purple color variants and its already on sale via Vivo e-Shops in China. As of now, there is now Official word on the device’s arrival in India but its highly unlikely since Vivo has already started teasing its sub-brand iQoo in the markets.
