A couple of days ago, Google held the I/O event wherein they announced that the company will be opening up the Android 10 Q Beta software testing from different OEMs. Around 15 new devices made it to the top priority list of Android Q Beta tests with popular brands such as Sony, Nokia, LG, Vivo, OnePlus, Asus, Xiaomi, Huawei and even Realme.
Some of the phones from the company in the aforementioned list have already started receiving their beta version of Android Q. Today we’ll have a look at the 8 smartphones that Huawei has planned to send the beta updates to. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced the smartphones which will receive the final version of the update however, they haven’t yet given us a timeline of the same. Information about how to enroll in the process is also yet to be received.
Android Q is scheduled to be released in late August this year and it is still under the hammer as of now. The Pixel devices will be the first ones to receive updates, especially their latest addition, the Pixel 3A. Huawei will be providing a custom version of Android Q along with its homegrown EMUI skin on top of it.
As per rumors, the Huawei devices will receive a dark theme, full-screen gestures, better notifications layout and more. So, the smartphones from Huawei that’ll be receiving the Android Q update are: Mate 20, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 Porsche Edition, Huawei P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20 Pro, Honor V20, and the Honor Magic 2
